Why LiNKS?

In the late 1980’s Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County, headquartered in Long Beach, operated a community based program which trained and employed Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.

In early 1999, changes in government funding for disabled services served as a catalyst for Goodwill to seek alternative means to support the community and build on its mission of providing job training, education, and placement services for individuals with barriers to employment. LiNKS Sign Language & Interpreting Services was founded and launched later that year. Today, LiNKS services the communities of the Greater Los Angeles and San Diego areas from our corporate headquarters in Long Beach California.

Over the past 21 years LiNKS has provided both ASL and Language interpreting referral services to business organizations, school districts, and City and State Government. Our clients receive exceptional service because we take pride in helping the local business community stay compliant with ADA laws and equal access provisions contained in the Affotdable Care Act (ACA)
